This unit covered the most popular methodologies that can be used to teach English. I have learnt that not all methods are similar and each method has a particular focus or approach in the way students are taught. The teaching method of Engage, Study and Activate (ESA) is outlined in this unit with examples of each stage and variations in sequencing that can be used. I am now familiar with this method of teaching and its variations. This is important for the rest of the course.
