In this unit, I learned that there are four equally important skills which are Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Here, we focused on receptive skills which are reading and listening. Our reading and listening can be for a specific reason, entertainment or both of them. It depends on what we are willing to benefit. For these two tasks, we need to master some skills such as skimming, predicting, scanning, and detail-orienting.
