Through my limited time of teaching english to students, I have not considered much about the function of the language until this session. Often times, I have to drill students on their vocabularies and pronunciation according to their level of proficiency. I can see how I will start using the language structure and functions in tutoring my students. It will definitely bring in richness and meaning of the language to them. Hopefully, their interest level in this foreign language will rise.
