In Unit 12 we take a look at productive skills, speaking and writing. While speaking and writing are substantially different in many ways, they are both used for the same purpose which is to communicate. Writing is a more difficult skill, requiring a degree of accuracy and speaking, on the other hand, requires a great degree of fluency. I have realized that we tend to overlook the importance of writing and it becomes a skill that is never developed. I have also learnt about games and their role in the classroom, many conventional and unconventional games can be adapted to language teaching.
