Basically, present tense is split into four forms which is simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. It adds the dimension of time into our speech. Every form comes in the affirmative, negative and question. The section on examples and typical errors/mistakes gave me a better understanding. I will incorporate those examples into my Spot the error worksheet. In my opinion, the most effective way to learn this, is through role play. One student will ask the question and another reply in both affirmative and negative.
