Evaluation was too often linked with ranking in my past as a young student and I am glad to see that ranking is not mentioned in this unit.
It is important to me to use as many techniques I can to avoid students to feel ranked in any situation but still being able to motivate them in order to have good results. I think that I would give non formal progress tests often to my future students to make sure all the concepts seen in class had been understood.
