Interesting unit. I imagine that it was to elaborate more on resources to use for learning tools as presented in previous units. I will be sure to research which links are no longer valid, and hold onto the unit as a viable reference for teaching resources. While technology has advanced greatly, I find value in older techniques such as tape recorders, simple games, worksheets, and overhead projection. While technology is widely available, the reality of life is that not all students and institutions have access to modern technology, and there is great value in older methods. After all, I have found it to be true that older people who studied without technology of this modern era are much more intelligent and knowledgeable because they use their minds more than the present generation who tend to rely on technology for cognition.
