Teaching Hours:
Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week!
Students:
Adult professionals over the age of 18
Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America
Remuneration:
Set base rate of 10 USD per hour
Contract type:
You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver English lessons and guidance to students
Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilising world class teaching methods
Lead discussions, assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field)
Completed, accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA
6 Months teaching or tutoring experience
English first language speakers from USA/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand
Must be based in Central America, South America or South-East Asia (Mexico/Brazil/Cambodia/Thailand/Vietnam/Bali etc.)
Computer literate
Clear criminal record
Engaging and inspiring communication skills
Punctual and precise timekeeping
Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots

PC specificationsProcessor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
Backup powerUninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching) . This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.
A stable fibre internet connectionAt a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds
PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection
Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera
Back-up headset highly recommended
Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
