English Second Language Teacher
Lexico English is a language services activity which is part of the Associazione Culturale LEAP that offers a variety of services related to English language learning and more. Our services are designed to help clients navigate any challenges or obstacles related to English, and to help them achieve their goals with ease. We are located in Padova, and offer a range of services that cater to the needs of individuals and organisations alike.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an English Second Language Teacher who will primarily be teaching privately, in homes and also at our group courses in the centre of Padova. The age range would be primarily 5-18 (elementary and middle school and high school students), but could extend to adults too. Our ideal candidate would need to be able to travel around the Padova area autonomously and give feedback after lessons.
The teacher will also be responsible for creating and delivering English language lessons, planning lessons, and helping students prepare for exams such as IELTS and the Cambridge English Suite (PET, KET, FCE etc). The role is located in Padua, but there is potentially the need to do online lessons too.

Qualifications
Teaching expertise, especially teaching English as a foreign language
Experience in lesson planning for a variety of student levels and skill sets
Understanding of the Cambridge English exams and experience in preparing students for it
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field is preferred
TESOL or CELTA certification is preferred
Experience teaching English as a foreign language in a professional or academic setting is a plus
Extra Requirements
Car or other means of transport to move around Padova.
