ESL Teacher needed in Costa Rica
Job DescriptionESL teachers teach 30 contact hours per week, Monday - Friday. Class size is limited to 12 learners. Most teachers teach a range of levels from Basic to Advanced. The majority of our learners are young adults, 18-30 years old, and some teens.We pride ourselves on our teachers, and it is important that you take pride in your teaching. We specifically look for professionals with a passion for teaching. We stress three things in our classrooms:1. Professionalism2. Chemistry with our learners3. STT - Student Talk TimeSalary and benefitsThe Institute pays teachers a fixed base salary approximately 10% above the average teacher's salary in-country. This salary is not adjusted down unless teachers request fewer classes, so monthly budgeting is easy. Base salary can be increased by adding classes, extra hours, substituting for other teachers, and earning 'Rock Star status'.
