in unit 7 on focus teaching new language there are three parts vocabulary, grammar and functions. the first part vocabulary should identify a number de factors like spelling and pronunciation, appropriacy and similarity to students own language or to english words already known. second part grammar should know the meaning, use, forms and patterns of language and spoken and written form. finally functions like boomerang and patchwork.
