First of all it served as a refresher course to improve my own use of the english language and to revise aspects of the language that had been long forgotten. I consider this aspect as very important before even considering teaching english to other students. Furthermore it taught me a lot about presenting study material to students. What to include in a lesson, how to present it, how to keep it interesting and to that students could actually enjoy the learning process. What I learned about methodology, problem solving, presentation and general classroom methodology is just as applicable to teaching other subjects and is not limited to teaching the english language. It is my ideal to find a teaching job in a foreign country where I can teach maths and science by applying what I learned in the course.
