I was hesitant to begin the course knowing it was to be done online only. The course materials were very easy to use and understand. My tutors were very helpful and made correcting any mistakes very constructive. I learned more about my language that I may have forgotten through the years. This also helped me try to put myself in the shoes of the students. Students do not learn overnight. It takes time, patience and understanding. Keep the classes enjoyable, yet make sure what is being taught is being learned by the students. BE PREPARED for every class. Very important. Show the students confidence in not only them but in yourself as the teacher. Don’t always go by the book, but do not disregard it, either. Course books are a great help and wealth of information. I look forward to taking more courses and classes for myself. Getting into a classroom to see how a teacher handles their class. What make a good class or a bad class? The more in depth the better. Excited to continue my learning and then to put that learning into action. Would love to teach worldwide. Any country will have challenges as well as a great time. The more focused and prepared I am, the better a teacher I will become. Looking forward to my first class and learning from them as they learn from me. Would love to be a full time teacher of english shortly. Thank you for all the course work, materials, help and time!
