Teaching Practice Component

In addition to studying for the online course, ITTT also offers the opportunity to gain valuable teaching practice in a training centre abroad.

Many online course graduates find that before taking up a teaching position they would benefit from a short teaching practicum under the supervision of experienced teacher trainers.

All online course students now have the opportunity to sign up for a one or two week teaching practice component. This consists of:

• Lesson preparation guided by qualified teacher trainers.
• Monitored teaching practice with genuine students of English.
• Comprehensive lesson evaluation and feedback.
• Watch teachers in action in a genuine classroom environment.
• Teaching materials.
• Additional training sessions on language awareness, teaching skills and classroom management.
• Additional career development seminars.
• Access to online teaching materials and support services.
• Teaching practice certificate (in addition to course certificate)

• Airport greeting and transport upon arrival.
